Might be nice to add something to the release notes? There are still
changes being committed to svn[1] so it probably isn't too late.

This is my stab, but before submitting as a bug against release-notes
it should probably have information about how to tell if you are affected,
and information about a manual workaround, neither of which I know about
offhand. Could you take it from here?
