Good question. I see 3 ways out:

* deviate to 0.0.14.X if needed
* revert to dash'ed version, but add a lintian override
* use an integer number which always increments

I don't like the third choice (it doesn't hint at the GGZ version number) but 
I don't know any comparable packages for the other two.
