[Pkg-gpe-maintainers] gpe startup procedure

Hi,















I've been fiddling around with my pda to install emdebianand gpe.





I've been experimenting with an image from angstromlinux and gpe worked
quite well.





I prefer debian, so I made the switch. Now for some reason Iseem to be
unable to launch gpe properly. 












With angstrom there was a package gpe-dm, that handled the startupof
X/Xfbdev, but with debian it's not there.












When gpe is installed, there's a link in/etc/X11/Xinit.d for gpe-login, but
this directory is ignored when I run xinit .However, you guys must have some
design which makes run gpe within debian. Iwould really like to know what 
'your' way is to do this.
