Dear GPE stack maintainers,
Ubuntu is currently reviewing a goal to remove sqlite2.
For this purpose, a transition tracker was setup [1]
~14 of those packages are part of the GPE package set maintained by you.
Is there any upstream development to move it to sqlite3?
Also, is GPE still relevant at all?
Is there still upstream and hardware that supports this stack ?
Last upstream messages are from ~2008. There are a couple of bugs open.
But apart from that packages look inactive, which doesn't say a lot.
If this framework doesn't have many users and is no longer relevant,
Ubuntu might consider removing GPE packages from the Ubuntu archive to
achieve the goal of removing sqlite2.
