I have uploaded graphite-whisper 1.0.2 into Debian unstable today. 

I have worked on graphite-web the last two hours to get it back into shape:

currently blocking an update:

 - not started at graphite-carbon packaging
 - javascript "source is missing" of the embedded js libs in graphite-web
 - log rotation problem within Debian / graphite-web
