 Well, as I said, I firmly believed the FTBFS was a solved libc6 issue,
 you seem to prove it's not, and I'll have a closer look at your build
 logs.  At all rates, the code path where the failure appears has been
 fixed but shouldn't be used at all and suggest a configure problem.
