thanks

        Hi,

 Is there a particular reason for using 0.8.9-2 for this report?

 Other buildd seem to achieve this well, for example:
<http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=ruby-gnome2&ver=0.13.0-2&arch=m68k&stamp=1124114305&file=log&as=raw>
 ... hence unreproducible.

 Since CPU usage is near zero (or maybe the gst-* processes eat CPU?), I
 suggest you strace the thing.

 On i386, it takes a split second to setup, but the programs read a lot
 of files, so it might be caused by eg. a slow NFS mount of /usr for
 example, but it's hard to tell.

 I propose you simply run each of the two utilities in the postinst
 manually, and see for yourself what happens. You will also get stdout
 output. At all rates, strace should give you the solution, but it can
 of course be a loop in gstreamer/m68k.

   Cheers,
