 I didn't see this bug when you submitted it, sorry for coming back to
 you so late.  Do you still get this bug with current gstreamer0.10?

 Could you try to "strace -f -e trace=file gst-inspect-0.10" to see
 which files (plugins) are accessed prior to the segfault?
