 I don't plan to update gst-plugins0.8 at this point (it's relatively
 obsolete).  gst-plugins-bad0.10 has the faad plugins for GStreamer, but
 is not handled by pkg-gstreamer, so feel free to get in touch with its
 maintainer, Joe Wreschnig.
