Bug#393768: python-gst0.10: Sound is very jittery

Package: python-gst0.10
Version: 0.10.5-5
Severity: important

Hello,

I hope I'm not blaming the wrong package here ... anyway, neither
"quodlibet" nor "listen" can play music without really bad jitter
(completely untolerable). They both depend on python-gst0.10.
OTOH, gst-launch is ok, as is (for example) xmms.

This started happening after system upgrade from K7 to X2. Among
other things, this involved sound driver change from snd-cmipci
to snd-hda-intel.

(BTW, I tried to produce the problem with examples/vorbisplay.py
but it didn't start ... maybe I should file another bug report?)
