Bug#405479: Problems reading Audio CDs

I'm starting to get wary of bug 405479 as more and more reports of it
seems to show up. GStreamer maintainers, what can be done about it? Is
it possible to get 0.10.11 into Etch or is it better to focus on
tracking down a specific fix for this bug?

Some users are also requesting an amd64 version of this package, I would
be most grateful if someone could provide it.
