Bug#426694: GStreamer GnomeVFS plugin fails to recognize extra protocols

 I've added a simple hook system to gnome-vfs2 in SVN which doesn't
 look like too much of a kludge and should be trivial to convert to dpkg
 triggers when they land.  gnome-vfs2 can't be uploaded right now, but
 people are welcome to look at the system before this happens and let me
 know what could be improved.
