    More specifically, there seems to be some odd interaction between
timidity and wildmidi in the gstreamer build process, and I've yet to
find a way to make it work: my builds are failing on gst-inspect of
libgstwildmidi.so.  Given that the wildmidi application isn't superior
to other MIDI players in the archive, I've not a strong interest in
pushing it until the issues with gstreamer can be addressed (although
anyone is welcome to sponsor, adopt, or otherwise use the wildmidi
package towards their own solution to this issue).
