Package: gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
Version: 0.10.7-1
Severity: important
As stated in the subject, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg prevents rhythmbox from starting. When launching rhythmbox from the command line I get:
------
$ rhythmbox
ERROR: Caught a segmentation fault while loading plugin file:
/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstffmpeg.so
Please either:
- remove it and restart.
- run with --gst-disable-segtrap and debug.
Error re-scanning registry , child terminated by signal
Run 'rhythmbox --help' to see a full list of available command line options.
------
Rhythmbox version is 0.12.0-2.
I need gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg to play .asx radio streams.
Rhythmbox works fine when gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg is purged, a part from playing .asx streams.
Do you know of any solutions or workarounds?
Kind regards! Fabio.
