Hi,
are you able to play back music with rhythmbox, totem-gstreamer or any
other gstreamer based playback application?

After installing gstreamer0.10-tools, do you get sound or any other
useful output when calling
gst-launch-0.10 audiotestsrc ! audioconvert ! alsasink
?
