Agreed. I'm trying to setup a lightweight system without any gnome
dependencies, and I'm bitten by this. I really don't think gstreamer has
to *depends* on gconf stuff. If one plugin needs it, or can enhance
gnome systems, fine, but it'd be nice not to impose it to other users.
