Package:  python-gst0.10
Version:  0.10.17-1
Severity: important

Hi,
current python gst bindings don't work on kfreebsd, as the module
itself fail to import due to some messy symbols in shared object;
traceback here below:

lucab at debian:~$ python
Python 2.5.4 (r254:67916, Nov 19 2009, 22:26:15)
[GCC 4.3.4] on gnukfreebsd7
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import gst
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
  File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gst-0.10/gst/__init__.py", line 193, in <module>
    from _gst import *
ImportError: /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gst-0.10/gst/_gst.so: undefined symbol: libxml_xmlDocPtrWrap
