Package: gstreamer0.10-plugins-good
Version: 0.10.23-4

Now that the opera browser, non-debian but nevertheless often used and
integrated into the package system, also depends on this package, it would
be nice to be able to keep a gnome-free desktop gconf-free. We are talking
about 5-20MB additional installed size and one or two additional system
services running, so this is no lightweight problem.

Up to now it was a distinction of debian over ubuntu and opensuse that
something desktop-independent like a browser (e.g. firefox/iceweasel) does
not force desktop-specific packages (that also clutter the home directory
with additional dot-directories).
