Dear Maintainer,

For the ppc64el architecture in Ubuntu, since this package uses libtool, manual
updates to libtool files are necessary to add support.

In Ubuntu, the attached patch was applied to achieve the following:

  * debian/patches/libtool_ppc64el.patch: Manually patch libtool/configure
    files to fix FTBFS on ppc64el.
