Maybe I was not clear enough, but when the packages are installed, gir
is able to find the libraries. The main problem here is that the
gir1.2-* package doesn't have the needed dependencies not the fact that
the libraries are not found when installed.

$ apt-cache show  gir1.2-gstreamer-1.0 |grep Depends
Depends: gir1.2-glib-2.0
