Package: gstreamer1.0-x
Version: 1.12.3-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I've just reinstall my PC and it was unable to play anything with Parole WITH
ANY USER BUT ROOT.
I have all the gstreamer packages installed, the codecs, etc. in fact, as I
said before, I can play anything as ROOT, but it is impossible to play with any
other users.
I tried a lot of internet forum tricks, but nothing works.
There is a video group and my user is in it:
jesusda at lucas in ~
$ → cat /etc/group | grep video
video:x:44:jesusda
Here the groups I'm member:
cat /etc/group | grep jesusda
cdrom:x:24:jesusda
floppy:x:25:jesusda
audio:x:29:pulse,jesusda
dip:x:30:jesusda
video:x:44:jesusda
plugdev:x:46:jesusda
games:x:60:jesusda
users:x:100:jesusda
input:x:106:jesusda
netdev:x:108:jesusda
lpadmin:x:113:jesusda
scanner:x:114:saned,jesusda
pulse:x:118:jesusda
jesusda:x:1000:
vboxusers:x:122:jesusda
I compared the groups I'm member in the pc with problems with another laptop
where parole and totem works fine, and are the same. WTF!!
It is really extrange.
Thanks a lot for your help and time. ;)
