You can try to convert with svn-arch-mirror if you want, I never used
it personally. Or just import the current state, that's OK. I
recommend the use of tla-load-dirs to import past work (remove the
.svn directories first!) and new upstream versions.

Ah, the other direction then: Should your usual sponsor be busy / in
vacation / ..., the team is a natural choice to ask for your upload to
be sponsored.
