Hmm... Quite peculiar. The debian/rules clean target seems to delete
them from the source tree, but they don't get rebuilt. I've no idea
why. Opal? A comment on that?

Building the package with "fakeroot make -f debian/rules binary"
instead of "debuild" or "dpkg-buildpackage" produces a package with
the locale info.
