I'm sorry, but I didn't mean to imply anything. Simply, that in many
cases the Debian package maintainers have zero connection to Ubuntu.
Thus, if something is different, we often times are unaware.
As far as including new stuff in Debian, unstable is quite good about
that. In fact, there are few packages which are more than one point
release away from upstream. Some exceptions are unmaintained packages
and cases where the maintainer is quite busy or is not confident in the
stability of the upstream package (happens quite often).

I understand. I do lots of free support for "customers" as well
(church, school, etc).

Hmm, then I don't know why you are still seeing that? What browser are
you using? Do you have caching enabled or disabled? Did you attempt to
reload the page one ore more times to clear out the cache?
