Mark,
thanks for the note. I have some comments tough:
1) In http://people.debian.org/~msp, the various .deb required to
install hplip itself are missing,
2) I need pure amd64 version, so I picked up the diff there, and
applied it. When buiding I have problem (after configure almost compiled
everythibg...)
make -f debian/rules binary
dh_testdir
make docdir=\${prefix}/share/doc/hplip dist_firm_DATA=
am__dist_firm_DATA_DIST=
make[1]: entrant dans le répertoire «
/home/valette/local/local-src/hplip-2.7.10 »
make[1]: *** Pas de règle pour fabriquer la cible «
foomatic-db-hpijs/install-sh », nécessaire pour « all-am ». Arrêt.
make[1]: quittant le répertoire «
/home/valette/local/local-src/hplip-2.7.10 »
3) there seem to be many dependencies on net-snmp in debian packaging
system preventing packages to enter testing..
Any hint welcom
