Although I suspect you need to raise a new bug report.

I also don't understand why reportbug(1) isn't providing the additional information required for a report.

Could I ask you run `hp-check -t -r` and forward the output.

reportbug should do this automatically, but for some reason it hasn't :-(  

Could I also ask you to include the output of `ls -la /usr/share/bug/hplip/`

$ ls -la /usr/share/bug/hplip/
