Hi there!

Today I wanted to install two HP printers (LaserJet 2430dtn and Color
LaserJet CP3525dn) and thus I looked for the best driver at
<http://www.openprinting.org/>. I thus discovered that at least the
former printer is listed as fully-supported by HPLIP, but given that I
do not want to install 70MB to print with a PostScript printer, I looked
for an official PostScript-only PPD. What a surprise when I found out
that Debian already shipped it, in a package (hplip-data) where the word
"ppd" is not even mentioned!

My first reaction was: what the hell, why is there no hplip-ppds package
with the PPDs only? At least in my case, it seems that the *full* HPLIP
suite is not needed for my two printers to work (I tested both with
different files from different programs). For this reason (and if I am
not wrong), this wishlist bug should ask for a separate hplip-ppds
package, recommended by hplip-data.

However, given that I understand that you could be reluctant to the
solution above, please at least add the word "ppd" in the description,
so `apt-cache search ppd` will return hplip-data as well:
