Good to hear that. What about Bdale and Frederik? Can't they sponsor?

Sorry for that inconvenience. I assume you know how to set up apt
sources. If you try paths
like /debian/dists/lenny/main/binary-amd64/Packages.bz2, they'll work.
You may rsync to 62.43.64.122::ia32 if you just want to browse.

I don't know what you mean by legally. Being an independent procedure,
just like any other tool, it can be configured and triggered by DAK. I
can work it out if DAK integration is the only problem, but I need to
know if FTP masters will accept it.

I think I'll wait till you actually try this scheme before discussing
about what is working and what isn't, so you can reconsider your
statements properly.

Note that this has been available more than a month ago, it's being
tested every day and there aren't any known bugs yet. The trivial
#469035 should be fixed to work out of the box however.
