package: ia32-libs
severity: important
version: 20090808

hi, ubuntu's version of the ia32-libs currently provides a lot more
libraries than the debian package. i think it would go a long way in
terms of increasing debian's 32-bit compatibility if their changes could
be adopted.

i did a diff of a file listing between the two ia32-libs packages
(unstable vs. lucid), which is attached (note that there are some false
positives; i.e. different versions of the same lib show up). in
particular, i'm interested in things like libnss, libsmime, libnspr,
etc.

thanks for looking into this.
mike
