Package: ia32-libs-dev
Version: 20110609
Severity: important

Dear ia32-libs maintainers,
recently libjpeg8-dev started to provide libjpeg-dev, that causes
breakage on amd64 build of Wine because ia32-libs-dev still links
"libjpeg.so" to "libjpeg.so.62.0.0", which in turn means I have the
version 8 headers, but the 6.2 linking. It doesn't lead to a FTBFS for
Wine, but Wine complains, that it was built with version 8 and now only
6.2 is there for loading (please note, that I haven't seen the error
myself, but several users of my unofficial Wine builds sent me e-mails
about this, the message from Wine is "err:jpeg:error_exit_fn Wrong JPEG
library version: library is 62, caller expects 80").

Please update the symlink to point to "libjpeg.so.8.0.0".

Kind regards,
Kai Wasserbäch
