Dear Osamu-san and other DDs.

Seems debian installer is going to release rc3 soon and will be
freezing for the final release[1].

After a discussion with other DDs(Included faka, ypwong, rogerso) and
other Debian users in Asia Debian Mini-Conference 2005, we were
thinking scim is currently best input freamworks in Debian and we
should put m17n-env and scim into takesel for great Chinese regions,
and it also has a bright future.

Now, the current scim in sarge has well supported tables and IMs for
our users in Hong Kong and mainland China and Taiwan, but we missed
the important one - chewing IM for most users from Taiwan.

Most of our users from Taiwan are heard of scim-chewing and have been
waitting for it into Sarge a long time. Please help on this, I won't
wish to see we lost and Debian users in Taiwan.

The libchewing and scim-chewing packages' /debian folder are ready on
pkg-ime project's svn:
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-ime and svn://svn.debian.org/pkg-ime/

And aptable from:
deb http://apt.debian.org.tw unstable main

Please have a look them, and upload them. :)
Any questions, comments and suggestions are welcome.

Hopefully both libchewing and scim-chewing could be included in Sarge
on time. :)

And I would love to see any DD would interested to co-maintain
libchewing and scim-chewing packages with kanru and me.
