Dear folks,
I written this email for request help. I have asked someone for help
on BTS, but seems it's not a good place for such request. So hope you
don't mind that I ask here.
I have prepared new version of scim-chewing for #358310, but my
sponsor gets an infinite loop in po/ directory which I cannot
reproduce on my machine both system and pbuilder. But we found ubuntu
has the same problem in earlier version(0.2.1-2ubuntu3), and they
made a quick dirty fix which I think debian shouldn't(you can see the
details on #358310 if you are interested).
So I need someone who can offer these help:
1st test with the upstream build system
1) download new scim-chewing tarball[1]
2) build with the upstream build system, just simply run ./configure
&& make
2nd test with current from sid
1) apt-get source scim-chewing (current version from sid)
2) apply configure_ac.diff[2].
3) fakeroot debian/rules build
And then if you can reproduce the build loop, please try
fix_intltool.dpatch[3] to see if it can resolve the loop or not.

Thank you very much.
