Package: libopenvanilla-dev
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Hi
I just looked at libopenvanilla-dev. It seems to be containing some .so
symlinks and .a and .la files, so clearly looks like a development
package.
These files is usually pretty useless without the corresponding headers,
which couldn't find shipped in any of the src:openvanilla-modules binary
packages.
At the same time, libopenvanilla binary package seems to contain some
kind of public-private libraries, such a package should really be
soverioned in the package name.
To add on top of the wtf things, ucimf-openvanilla seems to depend on
libopenvanilla, but doesn't build-depend on the -dev package.
Please, pretty please. Something is completely wrong and off.
I'm sure #debian-mentors/devel is more than welcome to give you a bit of library
packaging reviews if needed.
