Package: ibus
Version: 1.3.7-1
Severity: minor

Hi,

Trying to reproduce Bug#596975, I wanted to try out ibus.
But how?

| $ zcat /usr/share/doc/ibus/README
[...]
| IBus is an Intelligent Input Bus. It is a new input framework for Linux OS.
| It provides full featured and user friendly input method user interface.
| It also may help developers to develop input method easily.
|
|
| How to build & test IBus
| ===
|
| ibus-setup:
| It is a gtk program to enable and configure ibus.
|
| ibus:
| It is ibus daemon.
|
| hotkeys:
| Ctrl + Space: Enable or Disable input method
| Ctrl + Shift: Change input method.
|
| For more detail please refer to http://code.google.com/p/ibus/wiki/ReadMe .

Problems:

 1. It is still not clear to me what ibus actually does or how to use it.
 2. The language could be a lot clearer (please ask the friendly people at
debian-l10n-english at lists.debian.org if you would like help on this).
 3. Unless I have access to the web, the bulk of the documentation is
    inaccessible to me.

This bug is about #1. Would it make sense to include a pointer to the
ibus(1) man page and a quick tutorial there?

Thanks,
Jonathan
