Your bug report indicated that

ersions of packages ibus recommends:
ii  ibus-clutter           <none>
ii  ibus-gtk               <none>
ii  ibus-gtk3              1.4.0-3
ii  ibus-qt4               <none>
ii  im-config [im-switch]  0.7

But you do noy have ibus-gtk  and ibus-qt4 in the sane situation.  Why
they have no version????

Something strange is here.  They are ii.

Please purge them and reinstall.

That is for old packages  you have 1.4.0 .... wait a moment... do you
really have working system.

Please post output of the following for the machine causing problem.

$ dpkg -l ibus ibus-gtk  ibus-gtk3 ibus-qt4
