You are free to ignore this maintainer guidance but the problem you face is not
a bug.

What you reported in this report is some kind of a feature request
report (= wishlist bug).

If you have a patch for supporting your special configuration and you think
your patch is a good one, please submit to the upstream.

I see no point for supporting C myself.

Hmmmm... maybe I should update bug script to catch this situation.
