Hi folks,

I just got a mail from GitLab <gitlab at salsa.debian.org> on Dec. 21st.

This let me read the WIKI page on salsa:
 https://wiki.debian.org/Salsa/Doc

Basically, archive doesn't seem to be moved automatically from alioth.
So we need to decide how to keep things consistent.

We have a few options for pkg-ime-devel at l.a.d.o packages currently hosted in
 https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-ime/*.git

Option 1:
Apply for a group "pkg-ime" just like alioth and start moving package
when requested to move away from alioth or when we agree.
We apply lists.debian.org for pkg-ime at l.d.o to be created and
 migrate our ML to it.

Option 2:
Move projects to the Debian/ Namespace which is the Salsa equivalent of
'collab-maint' on Alioth when requested to move away from alioth or when
 we agree.
We migrate to an existing ML such as debian-i18n at l.d.o (bug reports
with i18n tag seem to happen often for ime package. They seem to be
forwarded to debian-i18n at l.d.o anyway.)

Option 3:
Same as option 3 for repository. But for ML, we apply lists.debian.org
for pkg-ime at l.d.o is another option.

Considering very few volunteers with high turn over, I think we should
move to more open repository at least. So I think option 2 or option 3
are better. This way, we get ourselves freed from accepting member.
Its open.

As for ML, having point of shared reachable account is important. I am
OK with either ones. As long as we have one ML address, we can track
situation easily as now.

Please let us know what you think.
