DHCP should not matter as long as the interface is marked as "auto" and
your networking is managed by ifupd scripts. If you are seeing the
problem still, please attach the logs.

Please share the xen bridge configuration. Is it an internal virtual
bridge ? Do you use NAT ? Or are you bridging the active network interface ?

Also, if you have all the logs and you suspect this to be a problem,
please file a bug report.
