[Pkg-iscsi-maintainers] open-iscsi and squeeze

Hi,
are there any known issues with open-iscsi and squeeze?
I did install squeeze and open-iscsi seems not to function.
After correct discovery of iSCSI targets, there is no login possible, neither by restarting iscsid nor by iscsiadm.
Either the login process hangs, or an error 'no records found' or an error 'Already exists' is thrown.
Machine is a HP DL380 G7 with Broadcom NICs. Network is functioning correctly.
Any advice?
