Thanks for spotting this, Friedel.

I tried to clean out the Tamil translation of iso_639 from all
obviously wrongly encoded strings.

However, as I don't read Tamil at all, I kept strings when they really
looked like Tamil characters (easily recognizable as they are amon the
most artistic ones I've ever seen).

The file is attached. I send this to Tirumurti Vasudevan and the
Ubuntu Tamil l10n list, who are listed in the ISO_3166 translations
(country names).

It would be nice if a Tamil-speaker could check that file and even
nicer if it can be completed. That's tricky as translating all
languages names in a give language is pretty hard, but at least please
check the file.

The updated file can be sent to
pkg-isocodes-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org, which is the mailing list
for "upstream" maintenance of iso-codes, used in Debian, Ubuntu, GNOME
and, as it seems, by Pootle too..:-)
