Thank you very much for your answer, which confirms what I was
suspecting, indeed...

Things are much clearer for me now and we will able to update the
iso-codes apckage and, more particularly the ISO 639-3 list,
accordingly.

I deeply appreciate the work done at SIL to maintain the ISO 639-3
informations, which indeed contrasts a lot with other ISO standards we
provide in iso-codes, such as ISO 639-2, ISO-4277 and ISO-3166.
