I'm not a deep specialist of git stuff so, indeed, I'll follow your
lead here.
I'm skilled enough with git to be able to cope with changes but I'll
need a clear view of where I should point the various things that hook
on iso-codes....particularly the D-I "level 2" l10n statistics that
are using the iso_3166 directory.
I also suggest you maintain a README.git file (or anyhting similar)
with instructions for technically-challenged folks like me to be able
to cope with things....
