Hi Christian,
I've read that announcement as well and agree with you. However, I don't
know whom to contact about the inclusion of iso-codes. Do you know the
contact person(s)?
In addition, it may be also possible to upload a new release to unstable
and at the same time to squeeze-updates, so that the update frequency
would be monthly instead of every six months. I don't know if that would
be acceptable by the release managers, though.
