[pkg-j2se-devel] make-jpkg for Mustang?

I'm looking at whether the instructions here:
       https://wiki.ubuntu.com/JavaPackageBuildNewVersions
will work for Mustang for ubuntu 5.10

I'm wondering if anybody has looked into this already?

I'm getting a lot of errors about being unable to touch /etc and 
/usr/share files.  I'm wondering if you guys already have a way to work 
around that kind of thing.  e.g. if one created a minimal root and 
chroot'd into it and then ran the fakeroot/make-jpkg that might fool our 
install script.
