The distributed COPYING file is a copy of the GPL.  Please, do not include
it in the Debian package, since this file is already installed elsewhere by
default in every Debian system.  A template for the debian/copyright file
can be seen at /usr/share/debhelper/dh_make/licenses/gpl (from the dh-make
package).
