Well, it took only a couple of minutes by adapting the files of the
slang-gdbm package.  The cbds package is great for that.

What took more time was to figure out how to disable RPATH (discourage in
Debian, see
http://www.netfort.gr.jp/~dancer/column/libpkg-guide/libpkg-guide.html#rpath)
and to understand why histogram.hlp was not installed correctly.

No.  Thanks for the info.

As regards packaging the S-Lang modules officially for Debian, since I am
quite busy now it will probably take a while.  This must be carefully
done and also an ITP (Intention To Package) announcement must be issued.
