Status of the package

I apologize for not having take part in the discussions about the JED
Debian packages these last times.  I was too busy with real life and also
with my other duties in Debian.  At any rate, I trust you guys are doing
a very good job without me around.

What is the status of the jed and jed-extra packages right now?  Should
we make a new release?  SLang2 is in testing since a while and I think we
should release 0.99.17.* to unstable, even if 0.99.18 will come out at
some point in the near future.
