Why jed-extra depends on findutils > Sarge version?, jedstate

Hi,

I've created a backport of jed and realized that jed-extra depends on a
findutils version not present in Sarge. This forces to create a backport
and recompile the package. Otherwise jed-extra would be directly usable
for Sid.

So, why jed-extra depends on this findutils version while we stepped back
with jed-common? Was there any other reason to introduce this dependency?

Is a backport of jedstate useful? Does someone of us use this package?
