I don't would release any 0.99.18 versions of Jed anymore. The current
version in SVN is 0.99.19.66 which fixes all open bugs. I don't think it
is worth to backport and maintain all patches. You've did what was it
worth for etch, but for lenny I would use the current Jed version.

I would suggest, we remove the patch because it causes more trouble
than it solves as Günther explained.

IIRC, John treats this not as a bug. There was a discussion about it on
the mailing list some time ago, but I don't remember what the outcome
was.
