Yes, unless there are non-DFGS-compliant files, which should be removed from
the upstream tarball. I am no license evangelist, but this is how Debian
works. There are several packages now in this situation, most of them are
very popular:

    bash_3.1dfsg-6
    firefox_1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.7-2
    gdb_6.4.90.dfsg-1
    gs_8.54.dfsg.1-4
    imagemagick_6.2.4.5.dfsg1-0.10
    info_4.8.dfsg.1-3
    kdelibs4c2a_3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5
    libdb4.2_4.2.52+dfsg-1
    libxml2_2.6.27.dfsg-1
    tetex-base_3.0.dfsg.3-1
    texinfo_4.8.dfsg.1-3
    texlive-common_2005.dfsg.2-1
    xfree86-common_6.9.0.dfsg.1-4

I have absolutely nothing against keeping the info files in the source
package, provided that John provides us with the source file (jed.ti) and
the licensing conditions are clarified.
